tirzepatide is a safe medication when taken as prescribed and under the supervision of a health care provider. However, some side effects may occur. Common side effects include: nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, vomiting, constipation, indigestion, and stomach (abdominal) pain.

Tirzepatide is a medication prescribed for diabetes and medically managed weight loss. You should not take this medication if you do not have a hemoglobin a1c of 5.7, or a BMI greater than 27 with co-morbidities or a BMI greater than 30.
Tirzepatide is contraindicated for patients who have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or who have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
There can also be increased complications in patients who have a history of acute pancreatitis, acute gallbladder disease, hypoglycemia, acute kidney injury, diabetic retinopathy, suicidal thoughts or ideations, or allergic reaction to Semaglutide. read more here.
